Exams draw closer

EXAMs!!! Exams! Three days towards the exam. Busy studying/revising lessons these days. I must try to gain comfidence in my study for the exam. Haven't shot photos these days. Will learn about B/W photography after exam.

Results of Vista Photo Contest were out yesterday. I couldn't manage to win any prize. I realize that there are many things to learn about photography and how to get a perfect photo. Missed the prize of Windows Vista and Office 2007. May be my photos were not according to the theme of the competition. Congratulations to the winners! Most of the award-winning photos are very nice and interesting.

Last week, tried to upload my photos on Flickr. It is a nice website to store and share photos. Previously, I just use the photo upload tool of Blogger and I found that it is difficult to get collection of all the uploaded photos. So, I changed to Flickr. I just need to use my Yahoo! account to create a new account and it is very fast and easy to upload photo there.

Visit to Kwan Im Tong Hood Che Temple on Chinese New Year Day

Went to Kwan Im Tong Hood Che Temple with my family. There were so many people. The temple was crowded with many devotees. Couldn't manage to get good shots. I should have taken the view from a higher place such as 2nd/3rd floor of nearby flat. It would be a nice bird-eye view of the crowd.

Ingyin Flower

This is a flower of Ingyin Tree. This tree is also known as Sal tree. It is a specie of Shorea robusta. This tree is native to Southern Asia, including Myanmar, India, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Today is the eve of Chinese New Year. Went to my grandparents' place for reunion dinner. My grandma cooked many delicious Chinese dishes. Tomorrow will be the first day of the year of the Pig.

Assignments are Over!!!

Today is last school day of this semester. Today, there is IISO Presentation. I needed to wear formal for presentation. I needed to carry the IISO model from my home to school. Luckly the bus was not crowded this morning and I managed to get a seat on bus so I didn't face any problem carry the model.

Today, teacher, Mr Mark cancelled the tutorial and he wished all of us to do well in our studies. Although he taught our class a few weeks, he is a good teacher who I seem is very friendly and active.

CMATHS tutorial was over as normal. Then me, Arun, Ben, Bernard, and Sam went to IISO lab to finalize our model.

At 3pm, presentation time came. Before presentation, I was afraid to present but the presentation went well. Teacher took photo of each student and group. We also took group photo with teacher. In the classroom, I also took some photos with my friends. Stupid of me that I forget to bring my camera today. I could not take high resolution photos with friends.

Finally, today all the lessons ended. 4 days of exam ahead.. I must study...

Taken during JAE at Auditorium. I was taking photos of students and lecturers and then I saw the side of the drum. I don't expect to get a nice photo while I was shooting but the final image is, I think, nice.

Actually, I was going downstairs to shoot the beautiful sunset scene one evening. But I could not find any good point to shoot the sunset because the sun-set scene was blocked by many blocks of flat. So I saw this cat and decided to shoot it. While I was shooting, it did not show any sign of fear to a stranger. It just give an inquisitive look captured in this photo.

My Mom's Recipes(Fried Chicken!)

Fried Chicken (One of my mom's best recipes). I like the taste very much as it is cripsy and delicious! Seeing this photo makes me hungry and eat Fried Chicken! =)
